Egypt Itinerary 5 Days: Cairo, Zafarana Monasteries & White Desert

Our professional representative will meet and assist you once you arrive at Cairo International Airport (CIA). Depart from the airport seamlessly, and take your AC seat in the private modern AC vehicle to start your day tour.

Transfer to the Giza Pyramids, visiting the iconic Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure Pyramids. Besides the Queens' Pyramids, Valley Temple, Mortuary Temple, and Pits of Solar Boats. Furthermore, explore the Great Sphinx after visiting the Panorama.

Next, you will be transferred to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the world's largest museum dedicated to a single civilization, teeming with more than 100,000 unique artifacts, including the full collection of Tutankhamun.

Later on, check into your Cairo hotel; the rest of the day is at your leisure.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will begin a tour of the Old Kingdom's most significant sites. 

Visit the Saqqara Complex to see the Unas Pyramid that includes the first Pyramidal Texts in history and the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest stone pyramid in Egypt. 

Continue to Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt, where you'll explore its open-air museum with the giant statue of Ramses II.

Your journey concludes at the Dahshur Pyramids, home to the Bent and Red Pyramids, which were crucial in the development of pyramid construction. 

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. 

In the evening, enjoy a magical dinner cruise on the Nile, complete with entertainment. Spend the night at your hotel.

Following breakfast, you will travel by an air-conditioned vehicle to Zafarana, located on the Red Sea coast. 

There, you will embark on the Monastery of Saint Anthony, the oldest Christian monastery in the world, where you admire ancient churches with colorful Coptic frescoes.

Proceed to the Monastery of Saint Paul, founded in the 4th century to be one of the oldest monasteries in Egypt and dedicated to Saint Paul the Hermit, the first Christian hermit.

The modern AC vehicle will transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo after a relaxing time and lunch at a local restaurant.

After breakfast or with a boxed breakfast prepared at the hotel, you will depart for Bahariya Oasis. 

Upon arrival, you'll have lunch at a Bedouin house; it is the most delicious lunch meal you can experience through this package.

The thrilling adventure begins with a 4x4 Jeep tour through the stunning landscapes of the Black Desert. 

You'll stop at El Heiz Spring for a relaxing break, then proceed to the glittering Crystal Mountain. 

The day culminates with a unique camping experience in the New White Desert, where you'll enjoy a BBQ dinner under a pure, star-filled sky in a traditional Bedouin atmosphere.

Enjoy a serene morning and a local breakfast amid the breathtaking landscapes of the New White Desert. 

Relish your final photo session, and then you will be transferred back to Cairo. 

Once arriving at Cairo, visit the historic Citadel of Saladin, built in the 12th century. This medieval fortress combines military history, breathtaking Islamic art, and breathtaking cityscapes.

Inside the Saladin Citadel, meet the magnificent Mosque of Muhammad Ali that showcases impressive Ottoman-style architecture. Discover its grand domes, towering minarets, and beautifully decorated interiors.

Finally, embark on the vibrant atmosphere of the ancient Khan El-Khalili Bazaar; it keeps the historical atmosphere of the 14th century, when it was established. Wander through its lively alleys teeming with traditional shops selling spices, perfumes, jewelry, antiques, and hand-crafted souvenirs, alongside the aroma of fresh coffee and Egyptian street food.

Your tour concludes with a smooth transfer to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
