Overview

A Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor is a fantastic way to explore some of Egypt’s most iconic attractions. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to visit a number of fascinating sites.

Believe me, there is nothing more beautiful than sailing across the River Nile and navigating among the most beautiful Egyptian tourist attractions at all, starting from the oldest city in the world, sailing to the south on a cruise ship, for every morning sunrise.

We will start our journey from Hurghada, afterwards we will move to Luxor to discover the landmarks of Pharaonic Luxor

The temple of the mighty beautiful Queen Hatshepsut.

The Temples of Karnak: A massive complex of temples, chapels, and pylons that was built over a period of 2,000 years.

The Luxor Temple: A stunning temple that was dedicated to the god Amun and his consort Mut.

The Valley of the Kings: A vast necropolis where many pharaohs of the New Kingdom were buried.

The Temple of Hatshepsut: A mortuary temple that was built for the powerful female pharaoh Hatshepsut.

Then we will move to Aswan across the longest river in the world; the River Nile.
The High Dam: A massive dam that was built in the 1960s to control the Nile River’s flooding.

The Temple of Philae: An ancient temple that was dedicated to the goddess Isis and was relocated to its current location when the High Dam was built.

The Unfinished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut: An enormous piece of granite that was carved but never raised.

The Temple of Sobek and Horus at Kom Ombo: A unique temple that was dedicated to two gods, Sobek the crocodile god and Horus the falcon god.

The Temple of Horus at Edfu: A beautifully preserved temple that was dedicated to the god Horus.

Finally, will move to Hurghada again to enjoy a free time at leisure with the chance to go to city or one of our optional trips (Sea trip or safari desert trip).

Itenary
Day 1 Hurghada

Upon your arrival at the Hurghada International Airport, you will be greeted by Golavita representative who will assist you through the immigration and customs formalities. You will be transferred with air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Hurghada where you will check-in and stay overnight.

Day 2 Hurghada

Breakfast will be taken in your hotel and free time at leisure all day. Overnight at the hotel

Day3 Hurghada- Luxor

After getting your breakfast boxes from the reception, Your Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada to be transferred to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will start a full day tour to Luxor sightseeing. You will start your tour from Karnak complex or Karnak temples which is considered to be one of the largest complexes in the world. The temple has astonished number of temples, shrines, pylons, hypostyle halls and sacred lakes. Your guide will open his mine of information for you and he will explain the history of the city of Luxor plus the history of the complex and its rich political and architectural history, free time to take some nice photos for the Karnak complex.  Lunch will be taken in local restaurant then you will go with your guide to your Nile cruise boat t check-in, free time at leisure till dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4 Luxor- Esna

Breakfast will be on board then your guide will take you to the fantastic west bank of the River Nile, Valley of the Kings where you will visit the spectacular tombs of the new Empire Pharaohs. 64 tombs including the tomb of the very famous boy king Tutankhamun which were dug totally inside the mountains. Your guide will recommend for you the most beautiful opened 3 tombs for the entrance ticket but two more tombs are extra charge, Tutankhamun and Ramses 6th.After the valley of the kings, You will visit the temple of the Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman ruled Egypt for about 23 years around 15 00 BC. Then you will have a Quick stop at the alabaster factory to see how they still keep the ancient Egyptian technique and in case if you like to buy some souvenirs. Last stop on the west bank will be Memnon Colossi, the gigantic statues of the king Amenhotep the third that was once standing in front of his mortuary temple. You will be taken to your boat for lunch and start sailing to Esna for overnight.

Day 5 Kom-Ombo- Edfu- Aswan

Breakfast will be on board then enjoy the sailing time to Edfu.  Now you have to be ready for your adventure to visit the Horus temple or Edfu temple with Horse-drawn carriage. The temple is in perfect condition of conservation and it has some of the most important stories all over Egypt like the struggle between Horus and Seth, the ritual of building the temple, Nilometer, Mamisi and much more on the walls, another silent movie you will watch before you will go back to your boat for lunch on board while sailing towards Kom Ombo. Tea and cake will be served on upper deck during the sail then you will visit with your guide the unique, double temple for the god Horus and god Sobek the crocodile. The temple is very rich with the unique scenes like the Calendar, the surgery instruments, the scenes which talk about pregnancy and giving birth, Nilometer and mummified crocodiles. After the visit, you can enjoy a drink in typical Nubian café then back to the boat, sail to Aswan, Dinner, and Gallabia party then overnight in Aswan.

Day 6 Aswan- Hurghada

Breakfast on board then you will start your visit to one of the most important touristic cities in Egypt with its unique location and incredible weather. You will start with Aswan high dam which is far 15 km from Aswan. On the way you will pass by the old dam which made by the British 1902.After that you will visit the romantic temple of Philae which was 500 meters far from the current site. To reach the site of the temple on its island in the middle of the Nile, you will get motor boat. Last stop will be the granite quarries from where they cut their obelisks and statues. There you will see the unfinished obelisk of the queen Hatshepsut which is 42 meters then you will be driven back to the boat for lunch then transfer back to Hurghada, check-in in your hotel in Hurghada, dinner and overnight

Day 7 Hurghada

Breakfast will be taken at the hotel then free time at leisure with the chance to go to city or one of our optional trips (Sea trip or safari desert trip)

Day 8 Hurghada

Breakfast will be taken at the hotel then free time at leisure till final departure to Hurghada international airport.
