2-Day Siwa Oasis Tour From Cairo

Your trip starts from any site you select in Cairo, including a hotel, for a prompt and comfortable pickup and journey to Siwa in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. The long drive is made pleasant with two scheduled stops for coffee and a break. 

Upon reaching the oasis, you'll begin your tour at the legendary Temple of the Oracle, the place where Alexander the Great was declared the son of Amun, confirming his divine right to rule.

Next, experience floating at the Salt Lake; due to the water's high salinity, you will float effortlessly on the surface, just like in the Dead Sea. 

Afterward, visit Cleopatra's Bath, a stunning natural hot spring surrounded by palm trees, perfect for a refreshing dip. 

Continue your historical journey at the Umm Ubaydah Temple (Amun Temple), a site constructed during the 30th Dynasty and dedicated to the ancient god, Amun.

As the sun begins to set, you’ll visit the Bir Waheed hot and cold spring and relish an authentic cup of traditional tea as the sky lights up with a golden glow.

Next, you'll proceed to the Mountain of the Dead, filled with hundreds of tombs carved into the limestone, decorated with vibrant inscriptions from the 26th Dynasty. 

Head back to Cairo with a stop at Marsa Matrouh, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and admiring the dazzling white sandy beach and crystal-blue waters of this unique coastal city.
