A day trip from Hurghada to Cairo by bus
This bus excursion allows you to visit the historic landmarks of Cairo, despite being located in Hurghada. During this day tour, you will have the opportunity to explore downtown Cairo and visit the Egyptian Museum, where you can see the iconic Giza Pyramids and Sphinx, as well as other artefacts, such as the golden mask of King Tutankhamun. The tour also includes a lunch break and time to explore a nearby bazaar.

This one-day tour is designed for tourists based in Hurghada, It will start by picking you up from your hotel in Hurghada around
1:00 am. However, if your hotel is not located in Hurghada city, you will need additional transportation to reach the bus pickup location as the bus will not pick up travellers from other locations such as Sahl Hasheesh, Makady Bay, Soma Bay, and El Gouna. After around 4 hours of travel, there will be a 20-minute rest stop at a highway restaurant for food and bathroom breaks. This restaurant has a variety of food options.
Upon arrival at the Egyptian Museum at around
8:00 am, you will have approximately 90 minutes to explore the ancient Egyptian treasures. After visiting the Museum, there is an option to take a boat tour of the Nile river, which is not included in the price and most tours don't include this. The tour then moves to the Giza Plateau area, where you will stop at a restaurant for an open buffet lunch. Lunch is included in the price, but drinks are not.
At around 1:00 pm, you will enter the Giza Plateau to visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx statue. This will take around 2 hours, also to enter one of the pyramids, you will need to buy an extra ticket (400 LE for the great pyramid and 100 LE for the second pyramid). The tour includes stops at papyrus and oil shops.
It's possible that this tour may not be suitable for those looking for privacy or more detailed information and longer sightseeing times. In that case, the best options would be the Cairo private tour from Hurghada or the Cairo tour by plane.
