Giza Pyramids and Sphinx:
After lunch, embark on a journey to Giza to witness one of the seven wonders of the world, the Great Pyramids of King Cheops and the Giza Necropolis. Giza is renowned for being the location of the Giza Plateau, home to some of the most impressive ancient monuments in the world, including the Great Sphinx, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and a number of other large pyramids and temples.
Built by the ancient Egyptians, the Great Pyramid is estimated to be 4,600 years old, dating back to the reign of Khufu. As part of a complex of ancient Egyptian royal mortuary and sacred structures, the Giza Plateau is home to 104 pyramids with superstructures and 54 pyramids with substructures.
During your tour, gain a deeper understanding of the pyramids, including their names and the methods used to construct them in ancient Egypt. The main entry fee includes access to the entire site, such as the pyramids, the valley temple, and the Sphinx, however, separate entry fees are required to enter specific pyramids, such as the Great Pyramid (400 LE) and the Second Pyramid (100 LE).
