Cairo 2-Day Trip from Hurghada

You will start by visiting one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World: the Great Pyramid of Khufu. Then you will see the Egyptian Museum that holds the treasures of Tutankhamun, and much more. On the second day, further back in time into the history of Egypt, explore the Saqqara Step Pyramid, which is the oldest stone structure in the world. Explore ancient Memphis, the capital city with an open-air museum that is simply incredible and hosts the cream of what Egypt has seen. At 2:00/3:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada in a private car or van, depending on the size of your group. We can accommodate up to 2 people and a child in a car, and larger groups will require a van that can hold up to 8 passengers. We provide pick-up services from all hotels in Hurghada, Sahl Hasheesh, Makadi Bay, Soma Bay, Elgouna and any other location.
You will arrive in Cairo at 8:00/9:00 am and start your tour at the Great Pyramids of Giza. You will have the opportunity to admire the glory of the ancient Egyptians and take in the stunning views from the highest panorama spot at Giza Plateau. You can also opt for a camel ride to cruise the desert with the desert ship and visit the Sphinx premises to witness history.
You will also visit the Valley Temple and learn more about mummification. After the Pyramids tour, you will stop for lunch before continuing your tour to visit other sites in Cairo. You will visit Memphis, the oldest capital of Upper and Lower Egypt, which houses the Alabaster Sphinx and the Colossus of Ramses II. You will also visit the Saqqara Stepped Pyramid of King Zoser, the earliest stone construction in the world, built by the chief architect Imhotep in the 28th century BC, and the first pyramid in Egypt.
Drive back to Cairo hotel at the Pyramids area overnight.

After the hotel breakfast, check out and meet your guide in the lobby to start your day by wandering around the overwhelming antiquities museum.
9:30 am to 11:30 am The Egyptian Museum:
Visit the Egyptian Museum of antiquities with its so many treasures. The museum was opened in 1901 and houses over 120,000 unique artefacts, such as the treasures from the tomb of King Tutankhamun on the second floor. Your tour guide will tell you the story of some famous Pharaohs and their Gods. A walk through the Egyptian Museum is a walk through history, where you will be able to see top art and crafts skills mastered by the ancient Egyptians thousands of years back.
After the Egyptian Museum, you will enjoy your lunch.

1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Visit the Iconic Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha:
Explore the iconic Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha, also known as Alabaster Mosque, built in the 19th century in Ottoman style. The mosque is considered one of the most beautiful in Cairo and offers stunning views of the city.
3:00 pm to 4:00 pm Khan El Khalili Bazaar:
Experience the hustle and bustle of the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest and most famous markets in the Middle East. Wander through the narrow streets and explore the variety of shops selling traditional Egyptian souvenirs, textiles, and spices.
4:00 pm to 5:00 pm Old Cairo:
Discover the charming streets of Old Cairo, also known as Coptic Cairo, which is home to several ancient churches and synagogues. This area is considered the heart of the city and offers a glimpse into the rich history and culture of Cairo.
5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Return to Hurghada:
After a full day of sightseeing, return to your hotel in Hurghada by private car or van.
